How
to Double Lattice Your Converse?
If you want to give your Converse sneakers a fresh
and unique look, one way to do so is by double-placing them in a lattice
pattern. This not only adds a new dimension to the look of your shoes, but it
can also provide added support to the fit. Here are the steps to double-lattice
your Converse:
Materials
Needed:
• A pair of Converse sneakers
• Two sets of shoelaces in different colors
Step
1:
Remove the old laces from your sneakers and lay them aside.
Step
2:
Take one set of shoelaces and feed one end through the bottom-left eyelet on
your left sneaker, pulling the lace all the way through until the two ends are
even.
Step
3:
Take the same lace and feed it through the second eyelet on the opposite side
of the shoe, pulling it through until the two ends are even.
Step
4:
Now, take the other set of shoelaces and feed one end through the bottom-right
eyelet on your right sneaker, pulling it through until the two ends are even.
Step
5:
Take the same lace and feed it through the second eyelet on the opposite side of
the shoe, pulling it through until the two ends are even.
Step
6:
Cross the left lace over the right lace, feeding the left lace through the
third eyelet on the right side of the shoe and the right lace through the third
eyelet on the left side of the shoe.
Step
7:
Pull the laces taut so that the cross-over is snug against the tongue of the
shoe.
Step
8:
Repeat the process of crossing the laces over each other and feeding them
through the next set of eyelets until you reach the top of the shoe.
Step
9:
Once you reach the top of the shoe, tie the two sets of laces together in a
knot.
Step
10:
Repeat this process on the second shoe to complete the double-lattice pattern.
